June 27, 2009

The SAKC has won the Scottish Korfball league for the second year in a row. In an undefeated season, the team went from strength to strength and never really looked like losing their title. Captain Adam Maynard said he was “delighted” with how his team performed all season and maintained a high level of focus.

To add to the league title, St Andrew’s Naomi Reid received the award for Female Top Goal Scorer at the end of season awards.

Incoming captain Dave Jones, says he is “confident St Andrews can be champions three years in a row” as he takes the reigns for the 2009 – 2010 season.
